The 2012-2013 Seeding is complete, and we wanted to give you an opportunity to read and discuss the seedings here. (Quick note: Can we not get the southwest region to update their scores? Are we not living in the most technologically advanced society in the history of the world? Has the southwest region of the United States turned back the clock to 1980 Soviet Russia, where no information goes in, and no information goes out?)
1. Maranatha Baptist Bible College (MW)
8. North Central University (NC)
—–
4. Trinity Baptist University (S)
5. Ohio Christian University (ME)
—–
2. Manhattan Christian College (C)
7. Arlington Baptist College (SW) – Update you scores!!!!

3. Kentucky Christian University (ME)
6. Trinity Bible College (NC)
I don’t have the exact score, so I will not post it. Hillsdale lost to Arlington by a hand full in the finals. The national tournament missed out on a good competitive team that had a bad game. Hillsdale has been in the top 4-8 all year long and should be in the tournament.

Why North Central over the Valley Forge Women’s team…they actually beat Trinity Bible at the A/G Tournament. I am assuming that Lancaster Bible has refused their automatic bid, because of their NCAA Div III Championship win.
Now I am wondering even more, why no VF? Just realized that North Central beat Trinity in their Championship game…to me VF should have been chosen over Trinity because of their head to head matchup in the regular season! I know it was only a 1 pt victory…but it was a victory!
So I see KCU is the 3 seed this year. Are we still going to see a third consecutive Maranatha vs KCU championship game? I see KCU is still ranked number 1 in the power rankings. Is this just because they have won what six straight now? I think if Maranatha is going to win it it needs to be this year, as they will be losing four four-year starters in Morrison, Peotter, Sheley and DeLozier. Believe it or not, Maranatha is even better and deeper than last year, finishing in the top half of their NCAA D3 conference and advancing to the conference semi finals. Should be fun!
