Everyone Beware! Stats don’t lie that’s true, but what happens on the field and how those stats get written in the books are a lot of the times two completely different things. Why haven’t some of these top guys been picked up by higher division conferences? I’ve seen several games this year and I have yet seen any ONE player (other than a great pitching performance) change drastically the outcome of a game.
Best player that has never been mentioned..Chris Davidson. A transfer from East Georgia and Emmanuel College. He's a great left handed thrower that can really come out of the pen throwing gas for Toccoa Falls. Watch him in the National Tournament, he will amaze you!
Stats may be fabricated to an extent but that it because not many people are experienced scorekeepers. The reason most guys don't get picked up by higher division schools is because hitting .400 in NCCAA is not going to equal even .350 at the NCAA DI level. The quality of pitching is mainly what distinguishes the divisions and with poor pitching will come inflated stats.
The number one ranked player Cam Fulcher has played at a higher level (NCAA DI to be exact) and chose to go to TFC to be trained for ministry. So, to answer your question, this guy has played in a higher division and is legit!
He's over rated..better luck next year!
